The project
LNGB is a project financed by DFID in Ethiopia for the improvement of life conditions of highly marginalised out of school girls. The project targets 2000 girls in 4 regions, reached by a consortium of international NGOs. In this project Gnucoop is responsible for the collection of data regarding school attendance of beneficiaries. DEWCO will be adapted to the specific situation, allowing for the recording of attendance data. Data will be collected during surprise visits in schools through 40 mobile devices and will allow a regular monitoring of presence in schools. The platform will operate in english and two other local languages.
