### The project

In the northern regions of Shinyanga and Simiyu in Tanzania, CUAMM is heading a pilot project to make sure the “test and treat” approach against HIV/AIDS is applied. The Test&Treat project involves hospitals, health centers and local communities in a continuum of care. It aims to decentralize HIV services from hospitals to primary care facilities and to shift tasks from doctors to nurses and community health workers. We are helping them to collect and analyse data from a variety of sources (excel files, Access DB, CTC2 Government software, paper sheets) and at different moments during the project implementation. The data collection is based on a deployment of DEWCO composed by 20 different form types, collecting 40.000 forms that are being elaborated by 10 different reports produces monthly, quarterly and annually.
